I am showing a 32" coluoured shetland on sunday. I am wondering is there any way that you can really impress the judges?? Any tips would be brilliant thanks sooo much. ( i am entering coloured inhand and novice inhand! ) X

say Good Morning / Afternoon ! If your the first to speak it will make you look confident and relaxed!

Turn out to the highest standard you can

Smile :D

:) i am grumpy lol and always look bored so will try does it help like asking for improvements as well?? x

only ask for improvements after you have your final placing and be very polite, some judges will be very helpful and give you lots to work on in a constructive manner.... others wont! Dont be offended its probably just their way :)

im 14 so i was told i can wear cream jodhs, with jodh clips, short brown boots and ive got a white shirt, canery pinspot tie and matching scrunchie and a grey tweed is this okay?? x:confused:

I worked with a lady who judged mini's for a summer and she said that aside from the obvious (clean and shiny, tack polished and well fitting) the most important thing to her after conformation was manners.

She was quite happy to ask a bad mannered pony to leave the ring and a pony who stood quietly while she checked it over was pretty much guarunteed to place above one who constantly fidgeted and tried to nip. So working on manners I would reccomend - strangers picking up the feet, looking in the mouth ect.:D

Hes a good boy as long as he doesnt nip will let you all know how i do on sunday! I hope to place as its my first ever show but i doubt it! x
