Ive seen a lot in my 50 odd years but this is sheer madness. I can't believe the stupidity of some people. The ad says that the foal is perfect for children who have never ridden before??????? They wont bother waiting till its 6 months old and weaned, they will sell it as it is now Poor wee mite.

iv just put this into an italian to english translator online and it doesnt say anything about not waiting until the foal is 6 months? and he may be saying it has a nice temperament.....why do we always assume the worst

I have phoned various 'foal ads' and all have said that there was no need to wait and that I could take the foal as soon as I paid the asking price. I can assure you, this one will be no different. Anyone who can tie a foal by its neck to a long cord isn't going to worry about weaning etc.

i agree its not the best written advert. but i think its unfair to assume he wil sell it before it is weaned. I also agree holding it by a lunge whip round its neck isnt ideal...

its disconcerting to hear people do sell them before theyre ready though
