Hi, im due to pick my weanling up shortly and i have a cheval liberte trailer. It has a screen at the back that is pulled down and hooks onto the ramp, now its not solid its a mesh and i was trying to work out how to make it more substantial for the trip home as well as cable tying it down securely ( long motorway journey of 5hrs) or whether it would be better to chuck a tarpaulin on top over the back and ratchet it down so it wont budge.
My weanling will have to travel with the partition in as trailer is where she is so no option of taking it out and its a solid one with a head guard, i can give her hay and fix a grill up so she cant get over or under the breast bar.
Once the trailer is here i have someone who can make me a watertight set of rear doors for it so it is weatherproof and am also going to have a single breast and breech bar made for it.
Does any one have any suggestions? Many thanks.
