Hello helpful horse people :)
There is a massive sale going on at my local tack shop, and I've taken the opportunity to buy rug bags, haynets, treats, and a new summer sheet for my boy (not to mention plenty of other pretty things I'm sure I don't need! Anyway, I saw a beautiful ear net which would match exactly to his new numnah, but I had no idea which size to buy so I had to leave it.

How do you figure out which size to buy as far as these go? I would guess they're a similar sizing guide to browbands, but that leaves me at a dilemma, as my boy has a slim neck, but a really wide face, and the cob browbands are a tad too tight, but the full browbands are enormous on him! I ride in a mixture of both, depending on which one I attach, but would it be better to go slightly too big or slightly too small with this fly veil? I need one because he hates things buzzing around his head while he's working, which is why his mane is so short, so flies drive him crazy in the summer.

I saw various sizing options when I was shopping, there was your usual pony, cob or full sizes, but then there was weird ones like pony/cob and warmblood/full and I got myself very confused! Is there any way to measure him so I know exactly which one to buy? Or am I simply being an idiotic first horse owner haha

Sorry to ramble on, and thanks in advance for the help! :D

I've found that some of them the ears are too close together. My just about 14.2 has to have full to get the width between the ears (the ears are always far too long and then need shortening). I don't think there is much consistency with sizing so you will probably just have to try it and return it if no good.
