I've just spent time on ebay and typically have been eyeing up nice looking dressage saddles mainly stubben/kieffer.

The mare is ridden in a cliff barnsby saddle and I am aware that there are differences between each make. Her saddle has two pairs of D rings at the front, are they both attached to the tree?

What is the best way to measure the tree size for each brand?

On ebay, particularly the German version I think it is in centimetres and when I translate the description (babbelfish) I get something like 'middle chamber width'

Thoughts/opinions/musings appreciated
