How to mulch up straw bedding for the compost heap?

I'm going to swap from straw to a different bedding so I can compost it more easily and that means disposing of two big straw beds. I'm just about to start a proper compost heap and want to try and find a way to mulch it so it rots down faster - is there a gadget that I can hire to do this?

Any advice gratefully received!

Just wet the straw down and it will rot fast enough.
