how to persuade someone to come and see my horse with me... urgent!

Um sorry, but not really understanding this? She's your mare right? BUT you're keeping her (on a farm) on a part-loan basis? So they have use of her and you can ride by permission? Am I correct so far?

What I think you're saying is that you'd like to ride her but feel unable to do so due to confidence issues? Am I right so far?

IF this is the case, then IMO you need to decide what you're gonna do. IF you want to ride her but there are obvious "issues", then you need to get a good instructor to help you with her. However, if you really can't deal with her and she's not the right horse for you (which I suspect is the case) then you'll need to sell her: perhaps if she's on part loan at the farm you mention, they might like to make an offer for her?

If you're scared to ride your own horse (if I'm hearing you correctly) I think you have to face up to it and be honest with yourself: and its an "either/or" situation, i.e. either you get help OR sell her and get something more suitable.
 
Do you have to go with another person on a horse? Could maybe a non horsey friend bike or walk with you?

It might be worth having a look at other horses for part loan and trying them (just incase you decide this one is too much) :)

she isnt my horse and i can only ride her on a permision kimnda thing from the owner. she is a right pain at the moment due to the grass comeing through and is just a little strong at the moment (am waiting for a new bit to try). i would normally be confident to ride her but today the weather was awfull and the wind was very strong and the bushes are very scary when they are blowing in your face (well according to the mare)

this is a horsey friend, but she walks round with me :) i have got a very good deal with her and am doing the owner a favour and she wouldnt let me ride her if she thought she was too much for me.

i can only really go up and ride her, but i do spend around 1 hou groooming before i start to tack up. she gets very bad seperation anxiety and i dont like to get her too stressed so its best if i just go up and groom her then ride.
