How to post photo's if you don't use Photobucket

I think I need help !, following my 'Selling horse' thread, and some of the problems with my photo's - too dark,big etc, how else can you post them on here for example ?. I have always used Photobucket in the past, and copied onto here but for some reason it isn't letting me put any new pics on, although I can still use ones that are on there. Sites like FB you can upload straight from the files on your p.c, but is Photobucket the only way for here ?
I know, I'm sure most people are suprised that I can even log in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use facebook, much easier.
Just right click the photo, select properties and copy the url code onto here as you would on photobucket.

make sure you put

before and after the URL

You can use www.tinypic.com - its like photobucket but you don't have to sign up for an account and it keeps your photos on it like photobucket but you don't have to if you don't want to, you can still use it without if that makes sense, it keeps the last 3 uploads that you have done until you upload a new one, so you can still get to them until you upload more. It's quite simple and easy tbh If you're struggling I made a tutorial for it on another forum which I can get for you if you need it

Are you click on the photo and not just around the outside of the photo?

Okay think that works, but that is off pic that someone else put on my FB page, my own still come up with my stupid profile... I'm not at all bitter and twisted about this.
