how to put weight on ?

hi my friends has just got a new horse, the paddock she is in is pretty bare and i would say she is a little under weight, however she has a huge low belly but her ribs are easily felt, she is very thin on shoulders and her back and hips so whats the best way to get her to put on weight and lose the big belly ? (belly is not from being bloted)

no she isnt in foal and has been wormed and had egg counts done, and she gets hay and there isnt an avaliable paddock for her as the weather has made them bare

Can your friend not rent somewhere where there is grass? If not then she needs to feed.

feed her prep 14 made by blue grass. it will have your mare 100% in 1-2 weeks. takes them a while to get on to it, 1st few days just give 1 scoop then you can increas to 2 scoops.
