We have had our 2 year old male entire GSD for a year. Recently he has started to react if my husband or I touch each other. For example if we try to have a cuddle or he puts his arm around me or vice versa he will come over to us and he usually jumps up at my husband and makes all sorts so weird whining, grumbling noises. He is very much my husbands dog not mine so I'm a bit confused.

He isn't aggressive and it is quite amusing but I'm not sure of the best way to react to this behaviour. Should we tell him off by saying 'no', reassure him or ignore him? It's not a big problem but I don't want to encourage the behaviour. It would be nice to be able to sit on the sofa together without a large GSD trying to sit inbetween us!

If he was my dog I would just point to the kitchen door and say out, give him a bit of time out and then invite him back in and hopefully it wont take too long for the penny to drop.

Yep or a strong bed command. Zak's a bit like this if the others are getting attention, he'll barge his way in, shove them out of the way, be vocal etc. he needs the pointed finger and he'll go on his bed.
