OK, so I am a complete and miserable failure

I took on board everyones ideas after the last time I forgot the farriers visit. http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=501203&page=3 I put the next one in my iphone, my outlook appointments at work, a diary and wrote it on a calendar and hung it on the wall.

It was today. I saw the 2 reminders on Tuesday and saw it on the calendar. Wednesday I completely forgot again.

Remembered at 11.30 last night when it was too late to ring my relative who does this for me.

I did manage to sort it out and all three got their feet done.

I give up, I'm going to get someone else to arrange things for me in future. Perhaps thats a business opportunity for someone. At this moment I would happily pay for someone to arrange my life.

Get in the habit of checking your diary daily. If it is something that needs to be done that day I have post it's stuck on my desk!

I am the same. So I leave a cheque for the farrier behind my horses name plate on the wall outside his stable so he always knows where to find it and my friend (thank you, thank you) luckily tends to remember if I forget and leaves him in. The farrier is brilliant and takes Bails out of his stable, sometimes with net in tow! and ties him (and net) up and does his shoeing, and then returns him (and net) to the stable!! Thank you Charlie. x

Stick a dirty great wall chart on the stable door and use it.
Stop being such an air head, you haven't even got age as an excuse with all the contraptions you can use nowadays.
One day you'll forget something really important which will cause you untold grief in some form so please learn to discipline yourself now before that happens.

Pay me to remember stuff and organise stuff for you and then I can afford to take the job I want to take! Providing you pay me a reasonable sum of money! ;)

Please let usknow the date of your next appointment and we will remind you via the forum.

I dont know, I wasn't there and I have forgotten to ask my uncle what day he arranged :D :D There really is no hope, off to phone him.

Set an alarm on your phone, one that goes off every hour if needed!!! My phone is my saviour for appointments!! xx

I thought I had :D Unfortunately me and my iphone dont speak the same language

I do check my work one but forgot to put it in that :D I did have it one my work outlook but it only reminded me 2 days before, I needed it every hour

I believe Manage my Horse will email you a reminder.

Get a week to a view diary and use it!

I would be I dont check my personal email very often, I dont want a lot of junk mail (even horsey on my work one) :D

Thats a good idea, will speak to the farrier about that one, mine is great he even sings to "the beast" to keep her calm

Write it on your forehead with perminent marker ;-)

I dont think that would work, I wouldn't be able to see it on myself :D :D perhaps on my daughter though :D :D
