My cob keeps trying to ride in an outline, unfortunatley Im not experienced to know what to do! We've come a long way together in out learning over the past 6 months but now I feel hes over taken me....Im happy as I know it means he working properly BUT I dont know what Im supposed to do with my hands/contact wise I guess....to 'hold' him there! if thats the right way to put it?

essentially, just keep pushing forwards and holding him together with the contact, keep doing what you're going! Ditto the above, very hard to explain without seeing, and getting a good instructor will work wonders! xx

A lot of horses will naturaly work in an outline. Depends on their muscle and carriage.
Though this can be a false outline unless the horse is coming through from behind.
Make sure you keep the horse is going forward off your leg and keep your seat and hands supple and sympathic. Using half halts when necessary.
An instructor would be good. But if you can't do this. Either video of get a friend to watch from the ground and explain for them to see if he is tracking up and staying rounded!
Hope that helps
