how to sdvertise/fill livery spaces? *DELETED*

Hello - I'm based in Lancashire, my full livery costs approx £120 in winter and £60 in summer (we're on 24/7 turn out). The reason for such a big change is that I pay a seperate charge for bedding which I don't use in summer and the full livery element is halved. We have both an indoor and an outdoor, hacking ok and good access to competition centres.

I'd suggest feed/saddleries as a good place to advertise. I'd also suggest that as its your contract, liveries don't get the choice if they like the contract or not - and no sign, no stable! What on earth was it they didn't like? Most contracts I've had have been pretty straightforward.

Good luck finding new liveries - there are those of us out there who really appreciate a good YO!

Yeah sounds right. I don't think I'm expensive and I treat all the horses like my own and love the friendly atmosphere we have plus (without sounding bigheaded) I am quite knowledgable and so can offer the best care possible etc.

With regard to the contract it was something about us not being liable for damage to their property etc. The basic stuff you see everywhere. Won't be letting anyone else come till its signed though. To be honest although we're gonna be quite out of pocket now, I just can't wait to see the back of them. We put up with so much running about after them and them bringin tons of kids down and taking over the arena. Sick of gettin annoyed by them all the time.

Thanks for your advice. It's nice to know that some people do appreciate good YO's x
