What is best to deter old pussy from using my front garden as a litter tray? Equally don't want to put off my dog from sunbathing out there either!! My other non pet owner neighbour is getting annoyed with this cat too!!

Orange peel or orange cleaner spayed liberally.

This ^^^

Or get a cat.

Or have a word with your neighbour and ask if they wouldn't mind cleaning it up. When I noticed my old cat was using next door, I had a word with the neighbours and asked if it was ok for me to go and clean the poo up because it was unfair on them to have to put up with the mess.

As above, also any freshly cultivated soil will be like a magnet to it, so planting up densely should discourage it, or covering any cultivated bits with netting if you have seedlings. There is also tiger poo that you can get online that is supposed to be effective or in warmer weather you could wait with a water pistol/hose to chase it off.

Agree with horserider - get a cat. It won't poo in its own garden and will put of others doing so too.

Or get cat wee/poo from another cat and put it in your garden - think you can get tiger poo as previous poster has said. Can you imagine puss smelling that for the first time and being relaxed enough to poo......?

I have large gravel on my driveway which the local cats treat like a litter tray. I did have a close shave when one of my dogs legged it out after a cat but not keen to risk either animals safety by doing that again! I will be trying the orange peel too!

Why is Orange peel meant to work? My (admittedly odd) cat will happily take tangerines, satsumas etc & bat them around. And citrus washing up liquid bubbles aren't an issue either.
I'd mention it to your neighbour op. Our cat still has a litter tray, although I suspect she wees outside quite a bit. But always told my neighbours to let me know if they think she's pooing in their gardens & I'll come & clean it up.
