This last couple of nights when I go to catch T for her bucket she has started nudging me with her nose when I’m putting the head collar on. In response I’ve just asked her to go backwards. Im reluctant to tug on the lead as when I first got her she was a bit shy with getting the head collar put over her head and don’t want to make her unsure again. She’s really good at being caught but I don’t want the nudging to get into a proper habit. She is very impatient and the nudging has only been at night when it’s time for her tea so far but I want to nip it in the bud early. Any suggestions?

I will definitely try pushing her nose away. Thank you.

I must admit I’m usually pretty good with using my voice and often use ‘no’ or ‘eh eh’ for telling the horses off but I don’t think I actually said anything when she’s done it so will try and remember to speak as well.
