My 16 week old puppy from eating poo when he is out on his walks. He is a labrador we have had him 8 weeks and l would love to be able to go out and not have to drag him away from it every frw minutes.

It usually means that he has some thing missing from his diet, first i would try changing what you are feeding him!
Or it may be that this is just something he has learned from his mother.
If i was you i would get him straight into puppy classes this is the most important thing for a puppy especially a lab because without proper training they can become very naughty.

What kind of poo is he eating? If it is horse/cow/sheep/fox then I would say that it is natural for a puppy to do that - all my adults do it too given half a chance

If it is dog poo, then as Rubysurfer says it is usually either a habit copied from others or a diet deficiency

agree with the above post....one of my dogs eats alsorts of poo including dogs poo...there are so much crap in some dogs food which as skinkbomb as said it tastes yummy to other dogs...ive notice that if one dog is fed raw the poo doesnt get eaten as that is pure waste

you could try by saying firmly NO when your dog even thinks about eating it,feeding pineapple, garlic,or using a spray collar...just a few suggestions, otherwise it become an habit

good luck
