Deary me...
Bed eating?
Just spent ten minutes earlier on this evening watching Boydog from the kitchen, having a great time trying to 'kill' his Vetbed.
(Same dog won't look near toys or take hold of the rag at training class, typical!)
He's had it for about three weeks, it is weighted down with three bricks (!).
He has always removed his bed from his kennel and dumped it out in the run, so I have just witheld it for a few days and then put it back again (which seemed to work with our old dog when she did the same).
However it is very cold and I feel bad for him and we bought him the Vetbed especially. Like I say, it isn't brand new to him, and he also has his stinky comfort blanket (a hand towel) for a familiar smell.
Any ideas? I know he would probably be fine in the kennel without it (he is a GSD) but I'd rather he did have it in there when the temperature does go down.
