Something I'm interested in doing!

Not even for the money ( although a wee bit extra would be nice) but generally I love teaching kids and ponies as it's so much fun.

I do a bit of freelance teaching a couple of kids just now. I don't have my PTT bit of paper but I've trained up to and beyond that.

Just wondered if anyone knows if you need any formal qualifications?

I have my riding road safety, Stage 2, horse owners 1-4, child protection, BHS first aid and equine transportation.

I have emailed the local DC but just wondering what you guys think?

unles your teaching a high group, teach how to 'ride' - heels down, hands down etc.. not much a bit like a riding school unless its a dressage rally

If you have been a pony club member before than u can actually be a member until your 25 now, I taught at my first pc camp this year on at v short notice and a lot less exeperrience at teaching than you, really loved it and all the kidshad fun but still learnt (I hope) age range was about 9. I would see what the DC says tbh and would try as many of your local DC's as possable.

You don't have to be qualified to teach PC. The PC I teach for has 1 instructor who came through the PC and now competes etc but has no formal qualifications. She just has to go on a PC accredited course once a year and have a book stamped then she's covered.
