How to tie a stock tie?

I've just bought my first stock tie, but am really confused as to how you actually tie it!
Anyone know of a good website that tells you how to do it? Or how you acutally tie it?
I used the instructions that came with the tie but it looks really wrong, but maybe it's just because I'm so used to wearing a normal tie

Basically, it's a reef knot.
Tie the first part of the knot 'left over right' - then...put the length which is now on the left over your shoulder to turn the knot on its side.
Tie the 2nd part of the knot (right over left), but tie it sort of sideways so that it's at 90 degrees to the first part of the knot. then fluff it up and make it look pretty.

HA see I cheated.. I bought a ready tied stock!!!! But I still had to get someone to put it on me LOL, it was only a fiver.
