How to treat pinworm

Apparently her horse has worms (pinworms) even after being wormed recently. She is wondering if it would be ok to re worm again with maybe panacur 5 day?
There is no pasture management where she is, so doubt it will ever clear up, will it?
She has never had this problem before and is worried about it.

Can anyone help?

One of mine had it several years ago and was rubbing under his tail raw. The only thing that got rid of the pinworms was five day panacur and disinfecting everything they might rub on including haynets, any fencing, trees etc.....

There are plenty of threads on the general boards here about pinworms and the problems peeps are now getting due to wormer resistance
