My mare is in the middle really - I've had her with a long mane however she doesn't have enough feather to be a traditional. Last season I had her mane pulled and turned her out as a native but still not sure she's that 'type'

Her dam is a clydesdale x cob and her dad a traditional cob. She is fairly chunky but doesn't have a mass of feather. She currently stands at 15.1 but is still growing (albeit not at a great rate). Would it be worth me thinning her feathers and turning her out as a native?

She looks native type to me. I'd turn her out as per the top picture if you like her having feather. If not take it all off and pull her mane shorter and plait her up. She could go either way and not look horribly out of place.
