How to wash a sheepskin numnah?

I recently bought a half sheepskin numnah off ebay. Well it arrived yesterday and the seller hasn't even bothered to wash it, it Is disgusting its all greasy and scurfy as well

What is the best way to wash it? I have no idea? Shall I use washing powder or not?

Rub hair conditioner into the sheepskin and then wash with a small amount of non bio. Dry naturally

To restore its former softness and fluffiness, and remove any matting/curling of the fleece, brush with one of these while the fleece is still damp, and dry flat:
