Am condsidering a PC event at Chilham in a few weeks time. Was wondering if anyone went a week or 2 ago, and what the course/ground was like. I did do a quick search for course pics but couldn't find any! Daughter and horse seem happy at this level and did Borde Hill UA last autumn, Tweseldown & Pulborough this year (PC events) and jumped double clear at all of them. Thanks

Cross country ground was fantastic. However I was less than impressed with sj warm up - Hard and on a slope. Dressage warm up wasn't great either. I can't comment on the intro course as I was there for the novice but it was a lovely event overall. I think they have quite a few vid clips on YouTube which should give you a good idea. Might be worth looking at results to see percentages of clears too :-)

We went to Chilham for the intro the other week and was happy with the ground, my times were quite early on and even after a heavy downpour early on the ground was still very good. Also found the course to be very nice, as this was mine and the horses first run all year, we were a little apprehensive to see how he managed it all being only 6 but there didnt seem to be any major problems on the course, would say it was up to height with some fair questions such as two lots of offset doubles and a rather brightly coloured flower box as the first, but if your horses has been double clear at other events wouldnt think this course would cause a problem.
