Hows everyone doing selling their lorries?

I sold my 3.5 tonne lorry in 3 weeks and that was through Preloved. First person to view it, brought it. The rest of the enquiries, were time wasters and one person even wanted to part exchange a pony for it! :o

Mines on preloved and Ive not had any enquiries on it. :(

Also trying to sell my 3.5 ton lorry and not doing well, had three people view, 2 were time wasters one was interested but I snapped the bonnet cable and had to repalce it and they'd lost interest by then. Also have a lot of people wasting time emailing me but no calls. Had it on horsemart and ebay, Now dropped the price by £500 and put it back on horsemart and nothing :( I can't really understand it as it's not over priced and is a nice little lorry. I thought I'd sell it quickly but at this rate I'll be keeping it over winter as I'm not going to drop the price anymore. I guess it's with the recession as it's on at the budget end of the market. I think with ebay people think they can bargin you down to silly prices, that's my experience of it anyway.

Rachelpink - Ive got mine reasonably priced as well because I want a quick sale. Ive never known things to be this bad though. I think I will keep mine over the winter too. Thats the thing with ebay I suppose people will want it for next to nothing. I tried selling my saddles on there earlier in the summer and they didnt meet the reserve and Im not giving them away either so it looks like I'll be keeping them too.

Everyone must be selling them far too easily - Have spent the day hunting for one and drawn a blank! Hence my earlier post pleading for someone to find one for me.....
