How's he looking? :)

Sorry bit of a pointless post but just thought I'd ask your opinions on my boy's condition. Ideally I'd like a fair bit more on him, well correct muscle more than anything [which we're working on btw, but that's going to be an on-going thing]
He's on ad-lib haylage pretty much [well two full mangers per day, one AM and one PM, which lasts him all day and has some left in morning usually too] and on two hard feeds a day.

Here's some pics from the past few weeks, sorry not the best! :

Last summer:

I don't think he looks too terrible does he? I'm just so paranoid about his weight with him being full TB and all the cold weather we've had so far for the past few months! Some days I think he looks ok,then other I think he looks under....gah lol. He's lacking muscle as we've had virtually no decent hacking which really helped him last year, it's extremely hilly here and did a heck of a lot of hill work last summer every day! So his bums gone quite a bit as only just started hacking again this week as the sun's come out

which we're both loving again lol! Can't wait till summer....glossy summer coats, nice grass, endless hacking....countdown lol!

Roody - bottom lunging ones are in a bungee with him standing, trot lunging pic is just reins hooked behind stirrups [XF reins].

aaahh I see. Just looks a little tight in one of them but if it elasticated its not so bad!!

Not bad at all - in fact V good....one of the photos makes him look a bit light behind the saddle (of muscle) and that is the hardest bit to make up......have you some nice steep hills you can trot him slowly up?

Yeah agreed! He's fairly light behind, which is our major area to work on as soon as we can get out hacking again.

Plenty of very very steep hills here lol, he has lots of dates booked with them soon as the grounds harder me thinks! Thankies!
