How's my retired ones looking?

Went to see retired Tom and Whisper today - how do you think they're looking?

First of all, Tom's arthritic knee

Sir Thomas Highness himself

And Princess Perfect

They've both lost a lot of weight - last time I saw Tom he had a double bum! They're about to move onto pretty lush summer grazing.

They're still so sweet - one look at me and they both poddled over for a groom and a cuddle (and some carrots of course).

I think they look great, I was going to say tom looks a super weight for a cob in no work and soo much better for that knee too

thanks guys. they're at copper beeches in cheshire which is fab and i'm mrs paranoid

its field rotation time so hence going onto lush grass - but tom has never looked so trim! Nicola (YM) is very lami aware but tbh given this was tom's last chance saloon and he's already well over his life expectancy and he eats like a pig, we do what we can to keep him healthy!

They look good weight wise! I've got a 33 yr old and I'm paranoid about him putting on weight. He's never had lami, but I know he's more at risk now and he's got very bad arthritis so being fat would not do his joints any favours either.
