Second that!! How's he doing? If it was anything like Honey, I was expecting her to come running up to me when I got there to collect her. She was so happy where she was (surrounded by boys) that she turned her back on me and didn't want to leave. LOL
He is still at the vets and coping well considering the way he is with strangers.
We are off to pick him up on Thursday and can't wait.
I am considering asking for him to have some sedative for the journey home as he travelled so badly on the way there.
Don't tell Spike but its been lovely only having 1 horse to muck out!!!!!
great news halfpass, keep us up to date on how he is doing and it hhelps so much with the support you get from Debradley and beth, who have been through the same thing they have helped me out so much on advice
wish you both all the best
A bit of sedative wouldn't be a bad idea if you think the journey maybe challenging; although they are quite stiff, so can't get up too much mischief to start. However, I always had a bit of sedalin in stock whilst Honey was on box rest. It just helped to take the edge off.
OH put a post in NL yesterday (grey_gelding) I'm going to try and take some photo's on sunday of him and i'll post them here. Dressing change sunday and stitches out wednesday. So pleased to have him back. Thanks guys
