Just getting my stuff together and looking out the window at this torrential rain! There is no WAY I am wearing my top hat in this weather. Honestly - it will just fall apart! Do you think wearing a plastic bag over the top will ruin the look?

LOL. You could tailor a black bin bag to fit tastefully over the top and I'm sure no-one would notice the difference - they'd all be too busy squinting through the rain anyway.

Best of luck anyway, rain or no rain.

You could start a new trend! Good luck and I hope it stops raining.

Good luck - never worry about rain! U can always buy another one!

oh and loved Robocob in H and H- pretty cool lucinda green riding ur horse!

Have a wonderul time (green with envy) think the weather is improving now anyway, you could demonstrate your horses superlative manners by carrying a discreet black umbrella.......

Thanks! We have a little sunshine here at the mo, so maybe we will be lucky. Pimms (small hunter) is coming up tonight to be ridden as it is her first time at HOYS. Bob who has competed here at least 7 times(!) is coming up in the morning as he OUGHT to know what he is doing. Robo is out in the field tonight "chilling".

I am only allowed to walk Bob when I warm up tomorrow morning as otherwise he will sweat - hope he is in a VERY good mood in that case!

We will have a very quick change from the Cobs to the Small Hunters - cobs are full evening dress - top hat, stock, navy jacket etc. Small hunters (which start approx half an hour after the cobs finish) are tweed, beagler, shirt and tie. Hope my hands stop shaking enough to get my tie done up!

For goodness sake you'll be grand!! well done to Jane on Wednesday, sat and watched the classes and did whoop for her, and Katie as I love Noble Clover!!
Best of luck tomorrow!!

Well it would certainly make H&H!!

Wishing you the best of luck and good weather!! Have everything crossed!
