Hoys pony showjumper

HOYS only have 128 and 138 championships. No 148's. For POYs 148's it depends if you have a JC or a JA and how old you are. You must be under 16 for a 148 - please do not say how old you actually are on an open forum.

There are at least 8 different classes you could possibly have on a 148 - with different heights. I can only suggest you speak to your BS academy instructor.

Last year there was 2 hoys 148 classes? Leading Pony jumper of the year and the fox hunter? (just a spectator here!)

HOYS have 3 classes for 148cm ponies newcomers, foxhunter and leading pony show jumper. For the first two you will need 4 double clears over the qualifying period then I think place in the top three at one of the respective 2nd round qualifers. For leading pony show jumper you need to qualify from one of those qualifers.

You can compete on ponies until your 16th year. Plus, be registered with BSJA, and your pony must have a height certificate
