Hi, just been looking at HOYS showing results & some classes to come & wondered how can 2 horses be entered in the same class under 1 rider?? Can somebody explain please.....

Because 1 rider has qualified two horses. They will either choose one to go in or, and most likely, get someone else to ride the other one.

Ah....thanks for that! I just assumed it had to be the same combo of horse/rider that competed & that you wouldn't be able to change riders....

If its something like Working hunters then chances are that only one of the horses will get through to the ridden show anyway. Louise Bell had something like 4 horses in the cuddly WH class, but when it came down to it 1 was withdrawn and 2 didnt go clear.
