Well it was the day for a bath of my lad as it was nice and warm and sunny. To say he was not amused is an understatement!!! This is his first bath in 2 years!!!
He is now nice and clean and scurf free and he had good gallop, fart and buck in his field afterwards because of the sheer indignation of it all!! He also rolled a few times...thanks!

Only if we are going to a show or I want to clip her. I never do it just for the sake of it so it can be as long as sixth months between baths.

I probably epitomise laziness, I only wash the white bits, the black bits are nice and shiny anyway.

They don't like being washed so i don't feel guilty about it. I don't reckon its a coincidence that D is one of the few horses on the yard that can go out unrugged in the rain and not come in shivering.

Snap, my three have been bathed for the first time this year, mare was her normally stroppy self, big irish kept trying to get hold the hosepipe to drink out of, the baby (he is 6) was the best beheaved of all until I turned them all out with their fly rugs on and he went absolutely nuts round the field, think he was happy to be clean, its been a long hard winter especially trying to keep them clean. Mine will be bathed as and when they need to be throughout the summer.
