Ive had my hat for about 6 months ish its all of a sudden got really big for my head and if i had a fall im doubting it would stay on my head ive adjusted the harness etc and its still too big. Does anyone know if you can get adjuster blocks for them similar to that used in cycle helmets to make the hat inside smaller? have done this before with another hat

thankyou

Yes - absolutely agree with the above. You really need to get the fitter to look at it again. It might be a faulty one that needs to be sent back??

All hats stretch. Maybe get some sizing tape and pop it in the back. I Have a J3 and i just put a bit of sizing tape in the back and its fine now.

I recently bought the HS1, when it was fitted it was fitted so that it was very snug around my head, allowing for the padding to give a bit. I would say 6 months isn't great, if it was definitely the right size when you tried it! The next size up was more comfortable for me with it, but, it wasn't as snug. I've ridden for over an hour in it so far and I've not had any problems.

I would try taking it to a shop and seeing if they can help you, they may want a small fee. Alternatively you could get some of that sticky back foam stuff, but I would say that you are better off getting a professional to do it unless you feel pretty confident yourself. You only have one head, after all!

they give a bit, but not that much, mine tend to give over about 3 years, and need replacing then anyway. inserting a thin foam strip into the lining is the usual way to pad it out a bit, but it sounds as though yours needs more than that tbh.
Dunlin, after 12 yrs you prob really do need to replace that one!
