My farm won't be effected directly but I have friends who are going to lose their farms that have been in the family for generations the compensation is laughable and you can't just relocate in farming....other friends are going to lose houses. We have precious few bridle ways and they will be severed and it makes me weep to think of the countryside I have known and loved all my life just torn apart...... Is anyone else effected and are trying also to stop this corrupt unneccessary monster ripping through what is left of a beautiful country?
 
Which area are you in?

My parents live in an old station house on the Great Central railway in bucks, strangely it's not going along the old route but carving a huge great scar in the surrounding countryside. It's heartbreaking.
 
We are in North Bucks. The proposed route goes through the middle of our farm - straight through unspoilt open countryside. We have joined with others in the area to fight against the proposal. We have heard the route will be confirmed at the end of this week.
