Huddersfield farrier HELP!

I hate doing these, I'm at the end of my tether its costing me £65 a new set....fine and dandy every 6 weeks (i suppose) but over the past 3 months I have been charged £15 a time to get shoes put back on that have been lost! (same shoe every time!) I used to pay £50.00 for a full set before we moved and now use the yards usual farrier, she rarely used to lose shoes.

I am not looking for advice on keeping the shoes on because over reach boots continue getting lost and her feet are in good condition. She is on full livery but its getting ridiculously expensive.

Please can anyone recommend a good farrier in west yorkshire around Huddersfield that can do a good job but wont cost the earth??

Check out the Farrier Register website. Just put in your postcode and it will bring up local farriers. I'm in Holmfirth and pay £70 set for mine!
 
I live in Huddersfield and I have done everything to find a farrier they are gold dust lol can anyone please help with a number ! Please
 
We use Stuart Warman, who is from that area. We pay £65 a set, then if they come off soon after they've been shod he puts new ones on for free, if its been a while we pay. We often give him a box of eggs as a thank you though. Generally they are mostly about that price. Our last farrier was £50/set but he wasn't as good.
 
I am alo in Huddersfield, pay £70 a set, lost shoes replaced for free if lost early on. Ours shod every eight weeks, full set on the Appy, half set on the big mare and £20 a trim for the youngsters. pm if you want the name and number of our farrier
