i have problems sometimes relaxing into the saddle and tense up around my seat bones due to an old back injury ,(its stable but wont improve due to scar tissue on the spinal cord ) any way being so tense is not only uncomfortable but it blocks my horses movement and ive been thinking about that huge sheepskin seat saver the Queen rides on -anyone have any clue where i could get one? or shall i buy a whole sheep and make one? :)

I've no idea about sheepskin ones but I bought an Acavello gel out seat saver and found it makes a big difference in my pain levels when riding. I have a problem with my lungs and nerves around my ribs which is worse with movement. This is much better with the gel seat saver. I've had a Heather Moffat seat saver before but that didn't help at all.

hi yes i tried the heather moffet ones and felt like i was sitting on concrete! the one im using at the moment is the nuumed sheepskin one with a thin layer of memory foam inside and its ok but im still getting uncomfortable after a short time in the saddle .i did um and arr about the gel out ones but didnt think they would be comfy enough, but maybe time to get one and see -i need to do something asap:rolleyes:

I have a griffin nuumed fluffy seat saver, and it's so comfortable. Had it a couple of years so can't remember what I paid for it, but it has retained it's fluffiness after many times in a washing machine :)
