To everyone who came to, contributed towards and helped with the Table top sale for the ILPH today.

The kids raised well over £200, and the day was a resounding success.


I think the smiles on their faces at the thought of giving the ILPH a cheque for this amount shows:

we still have a brand new Team Bucas rug (Oliver Townend) which we will be ebaying to raise further money
 
Today couldn't have happened without Katy, from the idea that was first formed to all the organisation behind it, she has put in 110% effort and gained huge results, with lots of headaches along the way.

I'm sure everyone who knows of Katy on the forum or in RL will give her the credit she deserves for encouraging the kids to be able to do this and involving the local community and raising money for a very worthwhile charity.

Must say I'm a tad disappointed though. You swore blind to me that your name was Pat and even slated me on AHHO, calling me a "fluffy member" of HHO for suggesting that Katy and Charlie were infact one user in a thread some time ago.

From the replies to this thread and the fact that I'm pretty sure that's your son on the picture (and I think your daughter too), I feel quite a fool for apologising to you now. You even demanded I log in to AHHO (which I did after I was alerted to the posts) with the express request for an apology from me, as it seems I was right anyway.

no matter who you *think* I am, I am quite shocked that you, as a mother, could try to turn a post like this into petty one up-manship.

*we* (all those parents and helpers , and indeed, the children who made this event work) wanted to make a post to thank everyone who helped. press, helpers, people who came and spent money, people who donated, local companies, local riders....

The children in the photo are, indeed, katy's children, along with Fiona C's children. I think the whole forum knows that.

Again *we* are disappointed that a forum member could drag a post of thanks and celebration for four children down to such levels in a bid to try to 'prove' something.

You will note that I congratulated you on your success. I opened the post for that reason only, to see how you had done with the sale and not to question your identity....until I saw the picture and another one of the replies and the fact that the picture is from Katy's photobucket account.
