I've just heard from a friend whose daughter rides there regularly that the riding school is set to close due to lack of finance

I'm gutted - I would consider it to be one of the best riding schools in the area, and always recommend it above any others to people who ask. Very sad

Never actually been there but when I was young ( 1960s!!), Janice's father ran the local riding school in Swindon. Have lots of rosettes from their 12.2 and 13.2 jumping classes. Very sad when anything like that closes.
