I’m hoping to start riding my Highland pony again soon after a break of four months. He’s fine but got a bit much for me. I’ve been doing ground work with him and been riding confidence givers myself. Just wondered if there was something humans can use to help the butterflies I will undoubtedly have! Tried Bach flower remedies.

Talking a lot to them like you are commentating what you're doing helps. Or Propanalol/Beta blockers if you want to go down the meds route?

Was going to say sing too!
Also positive self talk and keeping your and your ponys mind busy by doing lots of transitions or a bit of lateral work.

Singing's definitely the way to go. It regulates your breathing and if you choose the right song, will make you feel invincible! Choosing a song is fun too. I like "I Will Survive", a friend insists "The Sun Has Got His Hat On" is the way to go.
