I am wanting to put a pattern on my horses hind quarters but i cant really afford expensive clippers

i will only be doing little stars for starters so does anyone know if human clippers work? her coat is still quite fine

Thanks

I have human clippers (love the guards for leaving different length hair!) for taking her feeble feathers off without scalping her, and for little fiddly bits for a perfect finish on her face. I just got the cheapest cordless ones from tescos! At about £12 I don't expect them to last forever, but even if I have to replace them each year (had them longer than that already) then it isn't the end of the world.

I have one (large!) horse that I can only clip with trimmers and I do a full clip on her (minus legs and head) with Nicky Clarke trimmers, so you won't have a problem doing a few patterns with yours :D
