I have a 15.1 horse with fairly short strides, please could somebody help me with distances between bounces, and distances in grids? I usually use heel-toe steps:) x

Four normal human strides equals basically one horse canter stride .
So one stride between a jump is eight human strides two for landing four for the non jumping stride and two for taking off but you might need to reduce it to seven if you are jumping from trot .
If you start out like that then reduce if you need to .
