I am currently trying to buy a hunt coat on ebay post ebaying my perfectly good hunt coat four years ago when I lost my good horse and was short of cash. Have been wearing ratcatcher since but dont know the size (other than it fits) and have decided now is the tine to re-buy as I have a full season planned!

My questions are....
1) Black or navy

and

2) What size? I dont understand these inches! I am a 32e boob, size 10 but sometimes 12 depending on cut over bust

Thanks :)

Navy or black will be fine. I am a size 10/12 but have like tiny boobs I take a 36 but my friend with big boobs is a 38/40.

Dependind on how much you are looking to spend google shires clifton hunting coat. They are lovely jackets only £140 new and are warm :)

My hunt coat is black but I think navy is also acceptable for ladies. My coat is a 34" I think and I'm a size 8-10... it fits perfectly.

I'm a size 8 and take a 32" jacket (if they can ever be found!) so I'd imagine you'd be a 34" or 36" if you wanted it a bit room-y.
I think navy is prefered for ladies but a lot wear black.

I'm an 8/10 and find in a Mears jacket i'm a 34". But in some i tried like the Tagg and Caldene i needed the next size up. I'd imagine you'll be a 36/38"

My questions are....
1) Black or navy

At one time, only Lady Masters or Masters' Spouses were supposed to wear Navy. However, these days one sees as many Navy Coats as Black ones. I bought a Bernard Weatherill Coat off ebay three seasons ago for peanuts.
