Hi

Where can I buy a black hunt coat from without having to spend a fortune ie. Under £60.

I would be happy with half wool - as I intend to wear a body protector so don't want to be too hot.

Size 12 or a small 14 and I don't mind second hand.

Ive looked everywhere and they are all £150+

You can usually pick something up from Ebay for about £70 plus postage, but not usually much cheaper than that. Alternatively keep an eye out for sporting sales at Cheffins and the West country auctioneers. You can bid by proxy without needing to attend and pick up some bargains.

The problem is 36/38'' coats are a very popular size, so you might have trouble.

They're like hens teeth, i was watching one on ebay last wk that had been on the week before, 1 day left its taken off, it had a bid of 1p on it, i hadn't put my bid on. It also had to be collected from wales! I would have gone to about £50, it hadn't been sold as i mailed the seller who told me it cost £300, i did inform her i had been bidding on it the week before so knew how much it cost. Didn't think ebay would let you take things off unless you'd sold them. I'm now watching to see if it comes back on. Daughter needs a 34".................

I just sold one on ebay but it went for £160. They are £300ish new so I think you will be very lucky to find one for under £60. You could just look for a wool blend show jacket though.
