Hunt hirelings - Scottish Borders area

Can anyone recommend somewhere for a hun hireling for the newcomers meet with the Lauderdale? Tried Langlee (Lesley Douglas?) as she was recommended but she wasn't sure if she would have anything and then didn't get back to me.

I use Murray Bain for fun rides but he doesn't have anything for hunting

This will be my first time out with the uhnt....

Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Have you contacted the Secretary of the Lauderdale? That would be my first port of call, then I'd look in Bailys, as they have a directory of hunt hirelings.
