No one should ever go infront of the hunt master, it's very rude. If your horse tends to be strong, stick to the very back

If you kick a hound you should 1. Beat up horse. 2. Go home, after grovelling to master and then write to huntsman.
As for overtaking the master, I have done it and they were very nuice about it but it is not really the done thing!! Again, grovel, and NEVER run through hounds.

Afraid so, if a horse kicks a hound its three hard whips with a crop...it most likely won't do it again.

Some field masters are sticklers for manners but others will let it pass.

What hunt are you planning on going with?

Down here, I have at times been infront of the Huntsman...but only to do gates for him.

You should be behind the fieldmaster with the field and not pass them the Huntsman should be up front with the hounds.
