Well went out this morning
And it was
Interesting
To say the least. We had 3 tumbler's one in the first field one in the second and one over the first jump! Great start! Met Irishcob down at the meet and spring was really good he just stood there. Lisa went on a racehorse called Pierendello. When the meet actually left we sort of bounced along the road and then decided that was too hard cantering was easier. First couple of canter's were not canters they were reckless gallops. I was one of those people you all hate galloping past you through you and basically not having much control. But in all fairness he is an ex racer and that was the first time i had hunted him and only the second time i had been. After that we relaxed a bit more and got into the swing of it!
Unfortunatly on a canter the horse just in front of us sent a flying buck in our direction catching my foot and springs leg. He now has an arrow shaped gash in his leg
Didn't realise it was there till I got off!
After the kick we went for another gallop but not so good we ended up bolting through a field and nearly fell off. Oppsss!
Anyway Irishcob has posted a couple of photo's! I'm off to sort my ankle out!
Merry xmas all
Hope everyone had a good day
