I’m looking a traditional hunter biAs much as I’d love a Flyde I can not justify the cost for a pony who is predominately a companion.

Has anyone come across any nice traditional bridles for a Dartmoor pony?

Thank you Pansymouse! I generally always try to buy the best quality possible and will buy her one if that’s the best option.

I have a Stubben hunter bridle, it's about 10 years old now so not sure if they still make them, but if I cleaned it up properly it would still be smart enough to go out in public.

I really like the Ascot bridles for every day, I find them in good proportion for small ponies and they wear well - they look far more expensive than they are!

I have an Evison one that looks nice and was a reasonable price. Risley saddlery do lovely mix and match options, they attend lots of big shows in a normal year, not sure if they do online.
