Hunter Trial - Entry fees

How much do you pay and consider reasonable for a hunter trial class?

Just curious really, picked up a schedule for one in a few week's time and the entry is £20/class which I thought a little expensive, then I wasn't quite sure what I thought the entry fee should be!! Especially when you consider our last few events have been BE one's and the HT is over a BE course.

for a hunter trial round here that would be high end. Most are between £10-15 round me. Of course ODEs are more expensive though.

Ours average out about £14, which I think is reasonable.

Singles £12-15 Pairs £21-25 on average

Tis a bit pricey then isn't it? It's £20 a novice class, £25 for the Open then £30 for the Pairs

I think thats pricey !! Pairs not too bad. But the rest is a bit steep - i guess ok if it is a super dooper venue!

Around our way that is the average for a Hunter Trial over a BE course. Unaffiliated ODE's offer better value at around £30 to £35 again around BE courses.

I think £20 is expensive, there's one or two round here asking that much. I think max £15 is ok. Considering most ODE's round me are £25, for £5 more you get dressage and SJ!

Usually about £15 round here. Would pay £20 if it's a BE course but no more than that.

I was looking a schedule for a hunter trail today and it was £24 a class!

I paid £15 for one today that was the BE intro course 2 weeks ago. The HT over the PN course was £18

MKEC is £Entry Fees: Class 1 £15, Class 4 £25, Others £20 each + £4 for medical cover.
