You know that ominous feeling that your about to meet your maker?!
I'm doing the ''Nanny and Novice'' with my y/o, haha. What's so hilariously funny is that his horse is only 6, my boy is rising 5. Oh goodness. Luckily my y/o is very errrm fool hardy... brave... a typical man?! So he'll just kick on and go for it, doubt he'll check back to see if Buddy has his pilot still on board

We went XC training about 2 weeks ago and Buds did fab! We're doing the baby course, and although I trust him and i know he'll be a really good boy i still can't quite help that needing to run to the loo feeling that is already brewing in the pit of my stomach... I think i need to man up, have a stiff drink and take a deep breath!!! It'll be alright on the night yeah?!!

This is him xc schooling, he's fab I don't think i have much to worry about. But you know when you just cant help feeling nervous? Have a lesson tomo with my instructor, we're going to do a little bit of jumping and get my head in the game. If all else fails I think i'll just close my eyes and clutch on to the breastplate :p

Once i'm on board come sunday i know i'll be fine, i'm always better when things are unplanned then I don't have time to wind myself up!

hes lovley , looks v genuine and im sure youll have a great time. I used to be the same horrendous nerves, in the bathroom all morning but the feeling afterwards always made up for it. Dont forget to post a report...

Thank you :) I won't, as long as its not from a hospital bed :p I know afterwards i'll be on cloud 9, just need to fast forward please! lol.

He looks lovely :)

I'm sure once you've done the first few seconds you'll be going round with a humungous smile on your face and you'll both be having fun.

Nerves beforehand are always the worst bit, once you get going the adrenaline will kick in and you'll be fine. When I'm about to do anything like that, I have a long soak in the bath the night before and also have some rescue remedy pastilles...not sure they work, but if they don't then they have the right affect on my mind (cant think of the phrase here?!)

Anyway, have a super time, and come tell us all about it afterwards. Goodluck :) x
