Will try and keep it short and sweet so I don't bore you too much! Took Shadow to a HT today at Highfields Farm, did the 2'6'' and the course was lovely. We got there quite early so had plenty of time to get ready and warm up.
Off we went and she flew out the start and over the first few with no problems. Then there was a ditch, step up and log on bounce strides which I was a bit worried about but I needn't have been - she jumped it perfectly, sailed over the rest and finished clear!!
She was awesome!!!!
She was quite strong but I'm just pleased she's enjoying herself and taking me into the fences again, so pleased with my girly!
Went to look at the results when the class had finished and we weren't placed because we were miles away from the time as usual! The bogey time was 4.15 and I was 3.50, so we were 25 seconds too fast and the fastest in our class!
There was a photographer there so I'll post the pics when they go up on the website. Thanks for reading!
