Does anyone know of any? I am desperately trying to find a little HT at around 2'6-2'9 to go to as our first outing - something inviting and confidence building but I can't find anything that fits the bill, only PC ones that start at 3ft... oh, and I found one yesterday a good hour away from me but rules stated you would be disqualified for wearing XC colours - hacking jacket only! If I wore my jacket and a BP I would have no movement in my upper body at all

Well MKEC have a hunter trial on the 1st April.
Theres another hunter trial near Banbury, Warwickshire Hunter trial on the 6th April.
MKEC on easter monday have a clear round sjing and xc day.
 
Was that the one in Derbyshire near Ashbourne? Was looking at it this morning!!! It does say you can wear black or navy sweatshirts
 
Yes! That's exactly the one! Mmm I don't think I have a navy or black sweatshirt - oh I do but it has a hood - that's all I need 'Hoodie on Horseback'

By near Ashbourne, is it the one at Kedlestion? sounds like it, its my pc HT; you can just wear a sweatshirt, they dont mind as long as you arent wearing bright colours!

If it wasnt; there is a PC one at Kedleston, Derbyshire; in April.

Also one at Longford riding club Mid April, which is quite nice!

One at Osberton next Sunday (might be a bit big though!)
 
Thanks Jemayni - I think it was that one... I was going to have a rummage at home to see if I had any old school jumpers lying around that I could wear!! On balance though I think it is a bit far for me... are you doing it?
 
If you mean the one at Longford, it's not a bad course and it's not badly run either..... I did a Team Chase there a few years ago and it was ok....
 
The other place that sometimes does HT's is the xc course at Trowell. Have seen some of the fences from the M1 but never been. They have a web site but I cannot remember the address, sure Google will turn it up.
 
Will keep an eye on this thread! See whats going on!
XC schooling on friday so will know then what we are capabale of - thinkging of doing the 1st april ay MKEC though.

Probablly, Its tradition, to do pony club hunter trials
